Satish Vayuvegula, MD, MS, FAVLS

Dr. Satish Vayuvegula has specialized in the treatment of superficial venous disease for the past 19 years. He was certified in the inaugural class by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Vayuvegula’s interest in vein disease began during his residency when he learned that he was one of millions of Americans suffering from varicose vein disease. He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1999 and completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been an active Member of the American Vein & Lymphatic Society since 2006. He has served on numerous committees as well as faculty for regional courses and annual congress. He currently serves as the AMA CPT delegate, is a member of the multisociety guidelines writing committee and also serves as the President-Elect for the AVLS.
