I am trained as a vascular surgeon and have had extensive experience in venous, arterial and lymphatic disease. I did my general surgery and vascular surgery fellowship training at NYU Langone Health, where I have been on faculty now for over 25 years. I am currently the Frank J Veith, MD Professor of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine , and served as the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NYU Langone Health. In addition I have served as Chair of the Medical Board of NYU Langone Health.

Currently in a large academic practice with 11 academic vascular surgeons where we run multiple venous related clinical trials and have a busy clinical inpatient and outpatient practice as well as clinical research work and we have training programs for integrated vascular surgery residents and vascular surgery fellowships

i am currently President of the American Venous Forum where i have been involved in leadership roles for the past 10 years.In this role i have assumed leadership of this nationa and international society of close to 900 members. The society has a focus on research, education and establishment of guidelines for venous and lymphatic care
