Hands On Experience for Ultrasonography

Learning Objectives:

  • After completion of this course, participants will be able to recognize the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the deep and superficial venous systems.
  • After completion of this course, participants will be able to recognize deep and superficilal vein thrombosis, and deep and superficial venous insufficiency.
  • After completion of this course, participants will be able to recognize typical and unusual presentations of venous hemodynamics.
  • After completion of this course, participants will learn how to perform an all-inclusive lower extremity venous examination, using proper technique and protocol on patients with common and complicated venous disorders.
