David E. Connor, BMedSc, PhD

Executive Director
International Union of Phlebology
Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia

David has been the Executive Director of the International Union of Phlebology since 2019. Prior to this he was the Scientific Program Chair of the World Congress of the International Union Phlebology held in Melbourne in 2018. He is the Honorary Secretary of the Australasian College of Phlebology, having been on their Board since 2017. He has been the convenor of their Annual Scientific Meeting since 2019, with meetings held in Cairns (2019), online (2021) Sydney (2022), Adelaide (2023) and in Fiji (2024).

David is a Senior Research Officer with the Dermatology, Phlebology and Fluid Mechanics Laboratory and with the Blood, Stem Cell and Cancer Research Laboratory at the St Vincent's Centre for Applied Medical Research, in Sydney, Australia. He has a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of New South Wales.
