Dr. Etkin is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell. She is an Associate Chief of Vascular and Endovascular surgery and a Program Director for the Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship.
Dr. Etkin received her medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She completed a residency in General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery.
Dr. Etkin is active in number of professional societies including Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and Easter Vascular Society. She is well published and presented at several regional and national scientific meetings. She is actively involved in training and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
Her clinical interests are Aortic Aneurysm Disease, Carotid Artery Disease, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Minimally Invasive Endovascular Techniques, Dialysis Access and Venous disease.
