Mr Taha Khan - A consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Mr Khan completed his undergraduate medical training at Imperial College London in 2002. His interest in vascular surgery developed early in training and was exemplified by his higher research degree (MD - Doctor of Medicine) in Vascular Tissue Engineering. In 2016 he received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and upon finishing his training in the Southwest deanery, he succeeded in completing the advanced fellowship in Robotic Endovascular Surgery (St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College London, 2017) and the prestigious Deep Venous Surgery fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ (2018). He was appointed as a consultant vascular surgeon with the Manchester NHS Foundation trust where he established the largest Deep Venous Surgery Service in northern England and was both the deep venous surgery lead and the lead for the venous thromboembolism service. In 2021, Mr Khan was appointed as a consultant vascular an endovascular surgeon at St Thomas’ Hospital and joined the exceptional vascular surgery team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust.
