Benedict Turner is a Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London, undertaking a PhD with the Section of Vascular Surgery at Charing Cross Hospital. His research interest is in venous thromboembolism, specifically investigating the role of inflammation in the pathogenesis of post-thrombotic fibrosis and as winner of the Graham-Dixon Young Cardiovascular Researcher Award has obtained charitable funding to pursue this project.
