Co-chairman of the three UIP consensus conferences and co-author of the relative UIP consensus documents/articles on duplex ultrasound investigation in venous diseases.
Co-authors of: a) the Guidelines of the European Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery about “Management of Chronic Venous Disease:Clinical Practice”, three European Consensus documents on (foam) sclerotherapy and c) of the Italian Guidelines on Diagnosis and Treatment of venous and lymphatic diseases.
Co-author of a few books of phlebology and lymphology.
Author of over 130 publications on topics of phlebology and lymphology and of longevity medicine in various national and international journals.
Member of several Italian and international scientific vascular societies
Winner for two years of the platinum award (2000) and the Bronze award (2001) of the American College of Phlebology
Teacher and conference lecturer in several phlebology and lymphology courses/congresses in different countries.
Dr.Cavezzi has treated more than 15000 patients affected by vascular (mainly venous) diseases and chronic diseases; he leads a few studies in the field of phlebolymphology and longevity medicine.
