I am an assistant professor in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, specializing in breast cancer reconstruction, microsurgery and surgical treatment for lymphedema. I completed my residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. While there, I received multiple awards in research, as well as the best chief resident case award. I finished my fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where I spent an additional year studying complex breast, lymphedema, extremity and head and neck reconstruction.
My research interests include improving outcomes in breast reconstruction and lymphedema. I have published numerous articles in the journals Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery. I have presented at numerous national and international conferences, and I serve as an editorial board member for the journal Archives of Plastic Surgery.
