Graduated from the Medical Laboratory Technology School in Warsaw (1992). Employed as a medical laboratory technician in the Medical Research Center, Polish Academy of Sciences, Dept. of Surgical Research and Transplantology, Warsaw, Poland, under Professor Waldemar L Olszewski. Between 2009 and 2012, I studied at the Higher School of Medical Rehabilitation in Warsaw and graduated as a licensed therapist. In 2012-2014, I studied at the Warsaw Medical University and graduated with a degree in “magister” (equivalent to MD). 2015 I received a PhD in rehabilitation medicine from Warsaw Medical University. In 2019, I received a DSc in Health Sciences. My special interest in lymphedema problems dates back to 1993 when I joined the Poland-India research group on filarial lymphedema.
