Marresa Houle BS, RVT, RDMS, RPhS has been in the field of vascular and phlebology ultrasound for the past 19 years. She started her career at CompuDiagnostics, Inc. working with the Morrison Vein Institute and then moved on to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center where she has stayed for the last 14 years. She has found her passion in teaching ultrasound and is involved in many different aspects of education. She is part of the ultrasound faculty of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and has been working with her colleagues to grow the ultrasound section for the past 5 years. She presents at local, national, and international meetings and loves learning as much as she does teaching. She is currently the supervisor of ultrasound and CT and her current project is to involve her sonographers in sharing their vast knowledge within the ultrasound community. She has multiple publications on vascular anatomy, ultrsaound technique, and is the primary author of an article published in the JVU related to differences in reflux findings according to patient positioning. When she is not immersed in the world of ultrasound you can find her hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her friends and family in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.
