Teresa L. Carman, M.D. is the Director, Vascular Medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She attended medical school at The Ohio State University. She trained in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and Cleveland Clinic Florida. After residency she completed fellowships in Vascular Medicine and Clinical Thrombosis at Cleveland Clinic. In addition to a busy clinical practice she is active in resident and fellow education. Dr. Carman’s research interests parallel her training in clinical thrombosis, wound care, vascular ultrasound and arterial vascular disease. Dr. Carman is a Diplomat of the American Board of Vascular Medicine. She is also a Director of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
