Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the latest findings in lipedema key topics including imaging, pain, the role of distress, use of supplements, hormones, nutrition and vein treatment in lipedema .
  • Increase their knowledge about the mechanism of pain (nociceptive, neuronal and central sensitization) in relation to the potential mechanisms for lipedema pain.
  • Recognize the role of distress in lipedema pain and the importance of pain education (retrain pain).
