This session will cover conservative treatments for lymphedema including the use of imaging with the MLD approach, therapy assessment and treatment plans, as well as manual techniques and devices to optimize the provision of care. This session will also have a panel discussion on treatment options using case reports.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how imaging can influence patient-centered therapy approaches.
  • Understand how to comprehensively assess lymphedema and provide a tailored personalized treatment plan.
  • Appreciate the influences obesity and psychological issues have on lymphedema.
  • Recognize manual techniques and devices available to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Review case reports with panelists discussing treatment approach options.
