Foundation for the Advancement of Wound Care (FAWC)

The Foundation is the supporting organization of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery (ABWMS). The Board certifies physicians - both MDs and DOs - in wound care. Complete details and application for certification are available on the Board's website at www.abwms.org.

The Foundation provides education in wound care. Physicians with an interest in fellowships in wound care are invited to attend a workshop sponsored by the Foundation on 21-22 October 2023 at the Westin Hotel at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The workshop will provide curricular and funding information on fellowships. Registration for the workshop is available at www.fawconline.org/workshop-registration
